" They encourage us to do something different" On eariler Carter releases, UnSpoken Word Volumes I & II, and Nice and Easy, the influences of Earl Klugh, Kevin Eubanks, Mark Whitfield, George Benson, and Wes Montgomery shows through tastefully.
You don't have to travel to New York to hear fresh music. An invigorating new concept of Jazz-Hop is orginating in San Jose. Felix is known by his friend and peers as "Flex" and has artfully combined structure with improvisation that sometimes seems to be hurling ot of control but never does. Dig it!
Felix can be seen performing with some of the Bay Area's Master's such as Clifford Coulter and Ronnie Beck around the San Francisco and Bay Area.
Felix plays Ibanez Guitars and uses Labella Guitar Strings Polytone and Fender Chorus Amps.
